Tom King, An Gobha (the blacksmith) creates hand-crafted jewellery pieces that he designs and manufactures at his forge in the heart of the Boyne Valley. The unique metal decorative objects and blade works are based on ancient Celtic symbols and artefacts, and are all hand-made from mild steel, copper, brass and bronze.

Tom’s iron St Brigid’s Cross won the Best Overall Product Award at Showcase Ireland 2023. He also offers immersive and interactive experiences of traditional iron age metal forging, as demonstrated by the character An Gobha, delivered with theatre, stories, myths, history and fun.
