Welcome to Mothú – Statement Jewellery For Modern Celts… Maggie McAtamney designs and makes all of her jewellery from her home studio in Belfast, Co.Antrim, N.Ireland. An award winning designer she has over 25 years experience of working in Art & Design. ‘I created Mothú because of my love of design, jewellery and my own Irish heritage, I am inspired by ancient motifs, shapes & symbols, eroded etchings, religious marks, engravings and the rugged coastlines of the Co.Antrim coast. I love to mix natural woods, modern materials and elements of hand painting etc to create dramatic, meaningful pieces of jewellery.
